Photojournalist . Each workday you shoot and edit stories for broadcast and stream. You will also edit a mobile short each shift. The right person has a passion for breaking news, storm coverage, and meaningful daily storytelling. Helping reporters with LIVE shots is part of the routine. Our photojournalists are also encouraged to shoot and edit natural sound PKGs on their own. The right person understands what takes to make great visual stories. A team first attitude is a must. A keen eye for creative LIVE shots and production is expected. Calm and cool under deadline pressure is expected. In short, we are looking for an aggressive photojournalist who wants to be the best storyteller in Maine. Responsibilities
Shoot and edit stories for broadcast and streaming. Edit a mobile short each shift. Assist reporters with LIVE shots as part of the routine. Shoot and edit natural sound PKGs when appropriate. Demonstrate a passion for breaking news, storm coverage, and daily storytelling. Maintain a team-first attitude and produce high-quality visual storytelling under deadline pressure. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism or a similar field 1-3 years of experience in videography, editing, and posting to the internet Active on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok Knowledge of ENPS, Edius, and Axis graphics is a plus Benefits
