Role Description This is a volunteer, remote role for a Social Media & Marketing Volunteer at Believe New York. The role involves supporting the organization by managing social media accounts, creating engaging content for various platforms, and contributing to overall marketing strategies. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling social media posts, creating campaigns to increase awareness about the organization’s mission, and communicating effectively to engage the community. Volunteers will also work on digital marketing initiatives to grow outreach efforts and attract supporters.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation
Experience with Digital Marketing and general Marketing strategies
Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal
Creativity and the ability to craft engaging, impactful content
Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
A passion for community support and non-profit work is highly encouraged
