We are recruiting an Assistant Superintendent for a nationally recognized multifamily developer/builder to support field operations on a major ground‑up luxury development. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong foundational field experience who wants to step into a larger, more complex project environment with a clear path to Superintendent.

A top‑three national multifamily developer/builder with a tight-knit Boston office of 20 professionals. They develop and build luxury multifamily projects $100M+ and provide strong career mentorship, continuous training, and long‑term growth opportunities.

Our client is a respected national leader in multifamily construction, known for its collaborative culture, high‑quality work, and commitment to team development. This role places you onsite with an experienced team, offering hands‑on exposure to large‑scale luxury work.

Description

Assist the Superintendent in managing daily onsite activities and subcontractor oversight.

Support schedule coordination, logistics planning, inspections, and quality control.

Monitor safety compliance and conduct site walkthroughs.

Track progress, update logs, and assist with field documentation in Procore.

Help maintain communication between field staff, design partners, and ownership.

Participate in punch list development, closeout work, and turnover preparation.

Ensure field operations meet the client's high standards for quality and execution.

Profile A successful Assistant Superintendent - Multifamily Developer should have:

2-5+ years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent (or strong field engineer ready to step up).

Background in ground‑up multifamily, ideally luxury or podium/garden‑style.

Strong understanding of finishes, sequencing, and construction best practices.

Proficiency in:

Procore (required)

Building Connected

MS Office Suite

Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.

Eager to grow into a standalone Superintendent role in the near future.
