NardiHaus is a residential design and production studio dedicated to addressing the urgent fire rebuild efforts across Los Angeles County and contributing to solutions for California’s housing crisis. Following the devastating fires in January 2025, we began collaborating with design and construction professionals through the Altadena Collective in Pasadena. Our goal is to restore Altadena and other communities by working closely with residents, stakeholders, and partner organizations.

We partner with both non‑profit and for‑profit groups to deliver comprehensive design and construction support services. We are seeking an experienced designer / architect with strong technical skills, design sensibility, and leadership qualities to join our growing team and help shape meaningful, resilient residential projects.

Responsibilities

Lead design development and documentation for residential rebuild projects

Produce high‑quality

Revit

models and annotated drawings for SD, DD, and CD phases.

Coordinate with consultants and community partners across all project phases

Participate in

client meetings, site visits, and public/community presentations

Mentor and support junior team members in technical detailing and project workflow

Ensure design excellence while balancing constructability, cost, and schedule considerations

Qualifications

B.Arch or M.Arch

from an accredited institution

8‑10 years of professional experience

in residential architecture (California experience preferred)

Strong proficiency in

Revit

(required), with proven experience leading documentation sets

Excellent technical detailing, visual communication, and problem‑solving skills

Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently and coordinate across disciplines

Mission‑driven, with a strong interest in rebuilding, resilience, and fire‑resistant design

Familiarity with

single‑family residential design, permitting, and construction documentation

in California

Experience working directly with clients and guiding projects from concept to construction
