We are seeking a Principal Product Manager - Technical to lead the development of core capabilities in Foundational Models that enable the development of thousands of internal and external Generative AI Applications. We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial product manager who is passionate about bringing the power of Generative AI to Amazon businesses and customers. Responsibilities
Be the voice of the customer and drive a product roadmap that enables Amazon customers and partners to extract maximum benefits from Amazon's Foundation Models.
Invent on behalf of customers and advocate for their needs throughout design, build, and launch.
Communicate clearly and compellingly at all levels of the company given the high visibility of this role.
Measure business impact by diving into metrics and customer inputs.
Define product requirements and go-to-market strategy; coordinate across internal and external teams; be visible at the highest levels of the company.
Spearhead the definition of new FM capabilities through well-crafted business requirements documents.
A day in the life As a product owner and customer-facing representative for AGI, you will work with customers to understand problems, analyze service and business metrics, write PRFAQs and BRDs, iterate with the Science and Engineering teams, coordinate with partners across solution architecture, legal, and documentation, and envision future directions.
Qualifications Basic - Bachelor’s degree - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience in technical product management - 7+ years of technical product or program management experience - 6+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience
Preferred Qualifications - Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements - Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
