What You’ll Be Doing: • Lead and oversee day-to-day laboratory operations across multiple departments • Manage staffing, workflows, quality assurance, and compliance with CLIA, CAP, TJC, AABB, and DHS requirements • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and turnaround times • Develop and manage departmental budgets, resource utilization, and cost controls • Serve as the primary liaison between laboratory services, executive leadership, physicians, and external partners • Mentor, engage, and develop laboratory staff to support professional growth and retention • Prepare for and lead successful regulatory inspections and accreditation surveys • Align laboratory operations with organizational values focused on quality, compassion, and respect
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related biological science required • Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license required • ASCP certification required • Minimum of five years of laboratory supervisory or management experience • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills • Extensive knowledge of laboratory regulations and inspection readiness • Reputation for professionalism, integrity, and collaborative leadership
