Job Description Position Summary Join our dynamic Western Digital Fulfillment Operations Team as a

Retail Chargeback Specialist . In this pivotal role, you will manage our Retail Chargeback program, from investigating and analyzing chargebacks to identifying trends and improving processes to minimize financial losses. We are seeking a candidate with exceptional analytical abilities, a keen eye for detail, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across different departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage retail compliance and penalty programs including the tracking and analysis of vendor penalties, chargebacks, and other compliance metrics. Validate claims from retail partners according to contractual terms. Act as the subject matter expert on Retail routing guides and be the main contact for compliance updates and changes affecting retailer shipping methods. Perform advanced data analysis on chargebacks from ERP systems to provide insights for budgeting and forecasting. Create and manage reporting dashboards, and present monthly and quarterly reports on penalty causes and vendor performance KPIs. Investigate chargeback disputes by assessing various documentation including purchase orders and shipping records. Collaborate with departments such as Sales, Operations, Logistics, IT, and Finance to gather necessary documentation and resolve issues. Ensure timely recovery of funds by filing and tracking chargeback disputes within established deadlines. Keep precise records of all chargeback activities for auditing and reporting purposes. Identify trends and recurring chargeback issues; suggest improvements to reduce future deductions and enhance overall compliance processes. Facilitate communication with Retailers and pursue joint improvement opportunities. Conduct quarterly training sessions for cross-functional teams on updates related to retailer compliance. Qualifications: Education: A Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred. Experience: 3-5 years in chargeback resolution, accounts receivable, or retail deductions, preferably in consumer goods or the retail sector. Proficiency in data analysis using Excel, SQL, or BI tools like Power BI or Tableau. Familiarity with major retailers' compliance portals such as Walmart, Target, and Amazon is advantageous. Experience navigating Retailer Systems and handling chargeback management tools. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Transportation Management Systems. Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities across multiple departments. Understanding of EDI transactions and chargeback dispute processes. Capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
