As a Loan Processing Account Manager I, you will be an essential part of our operations, supporting the processing and sales of loan applications from Wholesale Loan Brokers. You will work closely with our dedicated Account Managers to ensure a smooth and efficient process for loan applications from submission to closing, all while complying with company policies and applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a crucial link between Broker Partners and our internal teams, including Account Executives and Underwriting, throughout the loan processing cycle.
Gather and secure required documents to fulfill loan conditions, such as WVOE, transcripts, and verifications.
Review documentation meticulously to ensure compliance with all requirements.
Support Account Managers by monitoring incoming documents and delivering excellent customer service.
Actively engage with the loan pipeline by making outbound calls to facilitate timely funding.
Continuously keep Account Managers informed about pipeline status and any outstanding items.
Communicate discrepancies in loan files clearly, ensuring all relevant information is accurately shared.
Document loan files thoroughly, maintaining a complete history of communication and events related to each loan.
Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong computer skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to handling confidential information responsibly.
Excellent organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage detailed assignments.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Familiarity with RESPA/TILA regulations and a willingness to learn more.
Previous experience in customer service settings is required.
Preferred: at least one year of experience in the mortgage industry.
Knowledge of NonQM, FHA, VA, USDA, and Conventional loans is a plus.
Experience with loan origination systems, particularly E360, is favorable.
