This role will be hybrid, based in our New York Design Office About OFFLINE OFFLINE is activewear designed for every aspect of your life. What You'll Do: Lead a dynamic team to drive exceptional results in product development, sales growth, profitability, and inventory turnover. Shape a compelling Omni Channel product assortment tailored to resonate with the OFFLINE customer. Initiate and implement a forward-thinking Omni product strategy through collaboration with cross-functional teams, including design and planning. Work closely with the Design team to predict trends from the Aerie customer perspective, curating a collection that aligns with current fashion and brand identity. Continuously assess the competitive landscape across both physical stores and digital platforms to refine your strategies. Collaborate with the planning team to formulate seasonal plans focusing on sales, markdowns, and inventory management to optimize revenue and reduce markdowns. Analyze business performance regularly to uncover opportunities for enhancing sales and margins, remaining agile to adapt strategies as market trends evolve. Drive innovative test-and-react strategies across all sales channels to stay competitive. Facilitate productive business meetings to ensure timely achievement of objectives. Adapt to a hybrid environment, balancing remote work with essential in-office engagements based on business needs. Participate in in-person collaboration when necessary during product development and approvals. What You Bring: A Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related discipline. 5+ years of buying experience, preferably within a specialty retail environment. 1-2 years of leadership experience managing a team. A collaborative mindset with the ability to effectively drive cross-functional teamwork. A passionate and proactive approach to achieving results. An acute fashion sense evident in personal style. An understanding of designer labels and their seasonal narratives, catering to both domestic and international customers. Strong analytical and creative skills to collaborate effectively with planning and design teams. Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and project management abilities with a keen focus on details. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven teamwork aptitude with the ability to influence peers and management. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
