Contract | Louisville, KY | $20-$25/hr

Overview

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a detailoriented

Accounts Receivable (Cash Applications) Clerk

to support their accounting team during a major systems transition. This is a

fulltime, onsite contract role

with strong longterm potential based on business needs.

Responsibilities Accurately post customer payments and apply cash across multiple business units.

Review, interpret, and match

complex remittances

to the correct invoices (high volume/multiline).

Research and resolve discrepancies; escalate issues as needed.

Prepare, clean, and organize data in

Excel

before posting (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, filtering).

Assist with monthend activities including

cash balancing

and pulling reports.

Support testing and validation efforts related to ongoing system upgrades.

Qualifications

Experience in

Accounts Receivable , specifically

cash applications

required.

Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, filters; no macro-building needed).

High attention to detail and ability to work with multiplant or multisystem environments.

Experience with AS400 or similar systems is a plus.

Strong analytical mindset and comfort working through complex remittance structures.

Schedule & Work Environment

Onsite

at the Louisville corporate office.

Flexible schedule between

7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

(standard 8hour shift).

Pay Details:

$20.00 to $25.00 per hour
