The State of Michigan is looking for: Technical Writer 3 Max Bill Rate: $60.95/hour Top Skills & Years of Experience: - 4+ years of general technical writer experience - Minimum 1 year mentoring and working with teams to implement standards for documentation, including the development and delivery of related training materials. - Minimum 2 years reviewing existing documentation against standards. Documenting and prioritizing identified gaps. - Minimum 1 year of working with work products and projects with purposeful ADA WCAG2.1AA focus. - Minimum 1 year of experience working with ADA tools associated with technical writing (e.g. Microsoft accessibility checker, Adobe accessibility checker, etc.). Clear and concise written and verbal communication is crucial to success and productivity in this role. Will close submissions on: 2/9/26 at 10am EST Interview Process: 1st round via MS Teams. 2nd round will likely be in-person. Candidates must be available for an in-person interview. Duration: 6 months Hybrid: Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days per week (Wednesdays and Thursdays are current required onsite days).
