Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Port Washington, NY
Employment Type: Contract
Location: Temp Remote - Port Washington, NY
Pay rate: $17/hr - English Speaker, $20/hr - French Speaker
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming customer calls and process orders accurately Resolve customer complaints and troubleshoot issues to determine the best resolution path Clearly document customer interactions and track call types Maintain service-level standards and uphold customer service excellence Follow up with customers regarding order status, shipping updates, and product availability Handle inbound calls for up to 90% of the assigned shift Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, hospitality, or a call center environment Experience handling high call volumes and/or heavy foot traffic Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong listening, comprehension, and problem-solving abilities Professional phone etiquette and confident speaking voice Ability to remain calm in challenging customer situations Strong time management and task prioritization skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to navigate multiple systems and internet-based tools Reliable home internet connection (speed test required) Bilingual French (for French-speaking role) is a plus
