- Detect and interrogate individuals suspected of violating immigration laws by inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations of customs regulations.
- Maintain surveillance from covert positions during night operations using infrared scopes, interpreting tracks and physical evidence of illegal entry or contraband.
- Conduct farm checks, building checks, traffic checks, city patrols, and transportation inspections to ensure compliance with immigration laws.
