About this Job
This position involves detecting, questioning, and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders. You will be working closely with other law enforcement officers to prevent illegal activities and ensure public safety.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- • Conduct surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations;
- • Interpreting physical evidence such as tracks, marks, etc., related to illegal entry or smuggling activity;
- • Performing farm checks, building checks, traffic stops city patrols,
- • Participating in search missions along international boundaries including aviation support if needed.
