
Data Entry Specialist
Responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining information in digital systems and databases. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle data efficiently while maintaining confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and update data into databases, spreadsheets, and software systems with high accuracy.
Review and verify information for errors, inconsistencies, or missing data.
Maintain organized records and ensure data integrity across all platforms.
Prepare and sort documents for data entry, including scanning, uploading, and filing.
Retrieve and review data when requested by team members or management.
Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of entered information.
Generate basic reports from databases or spreadsheets as needed.
Follow data privacy and security protocols when handling sensitive information.
Communicate with internal teams to clarify data discrepancies or gather missing information.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Excellent attention to detail and organization.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and/or Google Workspace.
Familiarity with database systems or CRM platforms.
Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data.
Compensation and Benefits: Determining compensation for this role depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
