Posted Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 10:00 AM JOB DETAILS: Shift 1st/Day Shift Location In Office Schedule To be provided by leader Salary Range $116,722 - $198,779 Annually JOB SUMMARY: Job duties include the leadership and management of all Product Support Sales personnel, strong departmental health, peer relations, and strengthening the culture of Client Optimization. Directly supervise and help to develop the sales staff. Manage all aspects of Caterpillar’s Merchandising Programs, assisting the Marketing Department with the design and implementation of product support advertising and promotional programs as well as assist in the technical aspects for the development of territory and product support marketing programs. Annually, with quarterly revisions, develop and implement Construction Sales Goals and Objectives for Product Support Business. Participate with leadership in the annual review of the construction sales territory and provide recommendations for improvement. Develop and implement Product Support Excellence Initiatives for the Sales Team. Assist sales representatives to solve any problems clients experience within the territory. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manage all product support sales activity. Oversee, review, and approve as necessary, all sales proposals. Manage Empire’s Product Support Sales Representatives. Hire, train, develop, supervise, and motivate salespeople to meet the requirements set forth by Product Support Management. Conduct performance appraisals on all salespeople. Develop, promote, and cultivate Client Optimization in all aspects of the Sales Teams responsibilities. Working with the assigned sales team, develop and communicate the annual sales forecast to Leadership. Establish goals and objectives for Product Support Sales Team. These goals should include sales objectives and short-term and long-term strategic initiatives. Maintain client goodwill. Assist PSSR’s and Empire in establishing good client rapport and satisfaction. Develop and implement new processes where needed to ensure empire is satisfying client needs and expectations. Work with and coach PSSR’s with client relation issues. Working with Leadership and Marketing, actively participate in the development and deployment of product support marketing programs, advertising, and promotion materials which support the annual Product Support business plan and targeting specific machine groups and clients. Assist leadership in the annual review of sales territory to ensure all clients are covered by either marketing support, ISR’s, or PSSR’s. Maintain communications with the General Manager of Product Support Sales and other salespeople. Maintain positive and productive factory/dealer relationship. Create an environment of ownership and personal accountability where each person is responsible and accountable for their performance. Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures and standards. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assign sales accounts and/or territories. Assist the Credit Department on COD clients and credit problems. Responsible for the management of merchandising Empire product support capabilities and integrate the product support plan with other functional areas. Promote and merchandise assigned parts/service products in a professional manner. Work with the Marketing Department to develop and implement merchandising programs. Assist in developing sales promotions to sell our products. PSSR compensation plans are designed to enhance and meet Empire’s goals. Manage all product support sales marketing incentives and initiatives. Control expenses in the Product Support area. Process inquiries and quotations. Work within and promote corporate values. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must have professional interpersonal skills to positively assist clients, direct employees, and consummate sales transactions. Must have a working knowledge of Caterpillar and competitive construction equipment product line, including model designations and equipment application and be able to comprehend equipment specifications, price lists, catalogs, industry publications and reference material. Must have organization skills sufficient to complete work assignments on schedule. Must have mathematical skills sufficient to perform common calculations quickly and accurately. Must have effective, pleasant verbal communications skills. Must have proven sales skills in the product support marketplace. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field and/or equivalent experience. Extensive experience supervising a skilled work group. Working knowledge of and experience using personal computer software such as Windows and Excel. Mechanical aptitude sufficient to relate to mechanical applications and failures. Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
