
Founded in 2021, Venture Land Group is a small, growing, multi-disciplinary real estate firm specializing in brokerage, development, and asset ownership across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
Our integrated platform allows us to operate across the full real estate lifecycle:
Brokerage: Advising tenants and landowners on acquisitions and dispositions, supported by deep market knowledge and strong relationships with municipal officials and zoning consultants
Development: Managing horizontal development projects throughout North Texas, with a focus on entitlement strategy, execution, and value creation
Ownership: Holding a principal interest in a portfolio of approximately 30 shopping centers and land assets across DFW
As our portfolio and development pipeline continue to grow, we are expanding our internal operations team to support scale and efficiency.
The Role
We are seeking a Real Estate Operations Associate to work directly with the Principal and oversee the firm’s day-to-day operations. This role serves as a central point of coordination across brokerage transactions, development projects, financial administration, and client and investor communication. The ideal candidate is someone who can comfortably balance high-level project management with detailed execution, takes ownership of processes, and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Key Responsibilities
Transaction Management
Coordinate brokerage transactions from contract execution through closing Manage timelines, documentation, and communication between buyers, sellers, brokers, attorneys, and title companies Ensure transaction milestones are met accurately and on schedule Development & Project Oversight
Support and manage horizontal development projects across North Texas Coordinate with engineers, contractors, surveyors, zoning consultants, and municipal staff Interface with city officials regarding zoning, permitting, and entitlement approvals Track project budgets, timelines, and deliverables; prepare clear progress updates for leadership and investors Financial & Administrative Operations
Serve as the primary point of contact for external accounting and payroll teams Assist with financial reporting, investor materials, and tax documentation including K-1s and 1099s Maintain organized records across multiple entities, properties, and projects Client & Investor Relations
Maintain professional, high-touch communication with clients, partners, and investors Respond promptly to inquiries and support ongoing relationship management Assist with investor presentations and reporting materials as needed Operational & Executive Support
Improve and document internal workflows and operating processes Support the Principal with scheduling, coordination, and special projects as the firm scales Qualifications
3–8+ years of experience in real estate operations, project management, brokerage support, or a related field Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Experience with Canva or similar presentation tools is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly Highly organized, self-directed, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently Salary range:
$65,000–$80,000
