Practice Groups: Consumer, Telco & Technology (CTT) & Performance Transformation (PT)

Locations: Boston, Chicago, New York, Dallas, Washington, DC, San Francisco

Role: Engagement Manager – Telco + Quotient -AI

Practice Overview: Consumer, Telco & Technology (CTT) CTT focuses on consumer‑facing industries that converge via technology, aligning services across B2C, B2B and B2B2C models. Our goal is to create new partner connections by integrating expertise from retailers, technology, communications, media and services sectors, enhancing narratives and executive relevance while preserving sub‑sector depth.

Telco We provide strategic and operational advisory to fixed‑line operators, internet‑service providers, cable TV operators, mobile and wholesale operators, and private equity groups. The focus is on value‑growth strategies, optimized offers, go‑to‑market performance and organizational effectiveness.

Quotient – AI Quotient‑AI blends AI implementation, deployment, and strategic advisory with deep industry knowledge. We guide clients beyond AI hype, delivering real value and outcome‑driven solutions, while positioning them at the forefront of technology.

Role Engagement Managers provide day‑to‑day leadership of client projects, manage complex programs, and ensure on‑time delivery that meets agreed goals. Primary responsibilities include:

Lead client engagements, partnering with Partners and owning the commercial process.

Guide and influence clients across all situations, becoming trusted advisors.

Engage in business development through opportunity identification.

Create thought leadership and intellectual capital on adjacent topics.

Develop team members and build a followership as part of asset‑building.

Model firm values, maintain a strong personal brand, and be well regarded by Partners, peers, and clients.

Oversee consulting teams in hypothesis generation, client interview execution, insight derivation, and deliverable production.

Support Partners in project execution with project planning, workflow management, and coaching of junior team members.

Desired Skills and Experience

4‑7 years of strategy consulting experience with a top‑tier firm or similar organization.

Track record of leading and managing teams, delivering results in fast‑paced environments.

Strong analytical problem‑solving background.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in SQL and Python (desirable).

Machine learning, data science, AI/genAI capabilities preferred.

Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.

Client management experience.

Passion for creative thinking and problem solving.

Rigorous analytical approach to uncovering insights.

Facilitation and presentation skills.

Versatility, flexibility, and enthusiasm for changing priorities.

Impeccable judgment and timely decision making.

Balance of humility and confidence, a truth‑seeking mindset.

High motivation and commitment to excellence.

Willingness to travel 50% of time, including internationally.

Compensation & Benefits Applicable base salary: $225k‑$240k. In addition to base, the role may be eligible for performance‑based incentives. Total rewards package includes health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401(k) savings and other retirement programs, as well as employee assistance programs.
