Location: Remote, USA (East Coast or Central)
Company: Vodafone IoT USA Inc## **Role Purpose**As IoT Solution Architect, you will apply your detailed technical knowhow in cellular communications and telecoms network technology to design and implement connectivity solutions for enterprise customers for many different IoT applications and industries. You will work hand in hand with Solution Architects in the team to design solutions based on Vodafone IoT’s
managed connectivity portfolio. You will support customers at the pre-sales stage through implementation and deployment, and make sure the solution is appropriately tested and accepted by the customer.* Work closely with the IoT Solution Sales, Product Management and Technology teams while driving pre-sales, design, and implementation phases* Present and evangelize our Vodafone IoT technology and solutions to our customer’s technical and business stakeholders* Learn about and become a technical expert of Vodafone’s IoT network and solutions and an industry expert in technologies related to global IoT deployments* Design seamless, well structured network connectivity and backend integration solutions that align with each customer’s existing systems and defined requirements* Support potential workshops with customers and internal experts to work out optimal solutions and generate customer satisfaction* Support the sales process as technical expert from pre-sales and qualification stages, through RFP / bid and contract sign-up, all the way to implementation, deployment and successful acceptance testing and sign-off* Create and maintain clear, accurate technical designs that reflects customer requirements and business capabilities, ensuring the solution receives full technical approval from the customer.* Support Solution Architect team, technical teams, and customers during deployments, testing, in-life during new feature deployments, and manage technical change requests* Liaise with internal delivery teams and drive solution design and testing through to completion* You will act as the customer’s advocate within Vodafone IoT, ensuring their needs shape our products, customer experience, and solution delivery so that we consistently exceed expectations.## **Core Competencies*** You are customer‑obsessed at your core. This includes 2G/3G/4G/5G, NB-IoT and LTE-M* Knowledge of data communication and network technology, software application, cloud technology, cyber security and IoT device development.* Knowledge of the broader IoT market, typical IoT applications and industry challenges.* Pro-active, driven, can-do attitude* Team Player* Comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment, flexible to adapt* A self-starter with a determination to succeedDesired Qualifications* Hands-on experience in IoT solution designs, implementation and issue resolution – on either the end device side, or the network side, or both* Experience in working within a multinational mobile network operator advantageous* Some knowledge of OSS/BSS systems for Telecoms of advantage## **Compensation Range (base salary)**$123,800 - $170,250 / yrVodafone Americas is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate.
