Job Description
Our dynamic Law Office is seeking a highly-skilled and self-motivated Immigration Paralegal to join our growing team. Someone who is organized, detail-oriented, punctual and reliable. Must be BI-LINGUAL (Spanish/English).
Requirements:
1-2 years of immigration experience handling: Family-based petitions (I130, I485, DS260, I864, 601A, etc.)
Waivers
U-visa/VAWA
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with legal case management and project management
Perform clerical duties such as transcribing documents and maintaining files
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
Prepare legal documents and assist with legal drafting
Enter data into case management systems accurately and efficiently
Maintain professionalism and excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients and other parties involved in cases
Review and analyze contracts and other legal documents
Skills:
Must be bilingual (Spanish and English)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in legal research and drafting
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Proficient in data entry and using case management systems
Knowledge of immigration law and procedures is a plus
