Overview

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join a sophisticated, team-based commercial real estate practice. This role supports attorneys on complex commercial and residential real estate transactions and requires strong title and survey expertise, advanced technical skills, and exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages multiple matters simultaneously, and communicates effectively with clients and transaction parties under tight deadlines. What You’ll Do

Assist with preparing and reviewing closing documents for commercial and residential purchase and sale transactions. Prepare and review loan documents, including UCC Financing Statements. Coordinate commercial and residential real estate closings by maintaining closing checklists, preparing and distributing signature page packages, reviewing settlement statements, and coordinating with all transaction parties. Order, review, and analyze title and survey documents; prepare title and survey objection letters, memoranda, and escrow closing letters. Order and collect legal due diligence materials, including zoning and governmental compliance letters, UCC/judgment searches, entity authority documents, good standing certificates, and estoppel letters. Order, review, and abstract UCC, judgment, and lien search results. Obtain and review zoning reports and conduct zoning analyses as needed. Conduct lease reviews and prepare lease abstracts. Manage the filing and recording of transaction documents. Prepare closing binders and handle post-closing matters. Manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting strict deadlines and accommodating rush requests. Maintain core working hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with flexibility to work overtime as required. Maintain punctual, consistent physical attendance in the office. What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal in a law firm, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong title and survey skills with advanced technical proficiency. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage competing priorities and high-volume workloads under tight deadlines. Solid knowledge of legal terminology to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactional documents. Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-service-oriented approach. Ability to think creatively, implement best practices, and adapt to evolving processes
