Overview Cadence OTC is a high growth CPG start-up on a mission to increase over-the-counter (OTC) access to safe, effective, affordable contraceptives. We own the rights to three of the most popular oral contraceptive formulations, and we’re in the process of moving the birth control pill over-the-counter and bringing OTC emergency contraceptives to convenience stores. Role Description This is a hybrid remote/on-site role located in Oakland, CA, for a commercial Operations Coordinator focused on B2B processes. The Operations Coordinator will handle daily operational tasks, provide administrative support, and ensure efficient business processes. For the right person we can be flexible on specific experience requirements. An advantage of working for a start-up is the opportunity to take on a variety of responsibilities, including managing schedules, monitoring projects, tracking orders, shipments, & payments, coordinating communication between teams, and ensuring customer needs are met efficiently & effectively. This position requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to optimize operational workflows. Can be part-time or full-time. Full-time salary range: $70-$100K + excellent benefits (healthcare, dental, 401K)

Key Responsibilities

Process B2B orders

through a range of sales platforms, including EDI, ensuring orders are received, validated, and released to the 3PL for fulfillment.

Monitor EDI workflows , including order transmission, acknowledgments, ASNs, and invoices; troubleshoot and resolve EDI errors or exceptions.

Coordinate shipments

of product from the 3PL to third-party sales platforms and retail partners, following customer routing guides and delivery requirements.

Liaise with Accounts Payable/Finance

to track invoice submission and payment status for B2B customers and platforms, ensuring shipped orders are invoiced correctly.

Maintain accurate, up-to-date records, reports, and documentation related to orders, and inventory.

Preferred Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in

operations, supply chain, or order management

in a product-based business (e.g., consumer products, CPG, personal care, OTC medicines, e-commerce, or retail).

Knowledge of EDI

(Electronic Data Interchange) processes and common retailer transaction flows (i.e., 850, 856, 810 transactions).

Hands-on experience with

B2B sales platforms such as Shopify

or similar platforms used for wholesale/B2B ordering.

Knowledge of

Amazon and Walmart seller platforms

(e.g., Seller/Vendor Central, Walmart Seller Center, Walmart Retail Link) and their operational/compliance expectations.

Experience in

personal care, OTC medicines, or broader CPG

categories.

Experience working with a

third-party logistics (3PL)

provider (inventory visibility, order routing, shipment coordination).

Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills; able to coordinate with internal teams and external partners.

Strong problem solving skills: ability to identify issues and recommend solutions

Solid analytical skills; able to interpret data and identify discrepancies or trends.

Highly organized, attention to detail and accuracy are a must for handling orders, inventory data, and invoices

Proactive, eager and open to learn: Comfortable learning about EDI and B2B portals

Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and comfort working across multiple web-based systems and portals
