Washington Division | Remote | Full-Time | Plaintiff-Side Personal Injury
The Ledger Law Firm (Washington Division)
is hiring a skilled
Personal Injury Paralegal
to support plaintiff-side matters from intake through resolution. This is a
remote role
for a paralegal who thrives in a fast-moving environment, writes clearly, stays organized under pressure, and takes pride in delivering a first-class client experience.

What you’ll do You will support attorneys and case managers across both
pre-litigation and litigation
tasks, including:
Pre-Litigation Case Support
Open and maintain files; manage deadlines and case checklists
Request, track, and summarize medical records and bills
Organize damages: wage loss, employment records, out-of-pocket expenses, and supporting documents
Assist with demand packages and settlement documentation
Communicate with clients professionally and empathetically (status updates, document collection, follow-ups)
Litigation Support (as needed)
Draft and format pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence
Prepare deposition and mediation materials; organize exhibits
Maintain litigation calendars and assist with court filing logistics (state e-filing systems, service coordination)
Coordinate experts, liens, and records subpoenas where applicable
File Management & Systems
Keep case management software updated with accurate notes, tasks, and deadlines
Maintain clean document organization and naming conventions
Ensure clients, providers, and opposing parties receive timely, professional communication
Minimum qualifications
2+ years of personal injury paralegal experience
(plaintiff-side preferred)
Strong writing skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
Comfortable working remotely with high accountability
Proficiency with common legal tools (case management systems, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, e-signature)
Preferred qualifications
Washington PI experience and familiarity with local litigation practices
Strong medical records review and timeline/summarization skills
Experience with liens (health insurance, Medicaid/Medicare, ERISA, hospital liens)
Comfort with discovery coordination and trial prep support

Clients feel informed, respected, and promptly responded to
Records, bills, lien items, and damages are tracked cleanly
The attorney has what they need, when they need it—without last‑minute chaos
Work arrangement

Standard business-hour availability preferred, with flexibility based on team needs
