Openigloo is seeking a
Leasing Assistant (Contract → Full-Time)
to support the Head of Leasing during a major growth phase. This is a hands-on, in-person role focused on leasing operations, deal flow, and execution across a high-volume NYC portfolio. Compensation for this role ranges from $60,000–$80,000 annually, based on experience. The Leasing Assistant will play a critical role in keeping leasing pipelines organized, leases moving, and systems accurate as transaction volume scales. This position is ideal for someone early in their real estate career who wants direct exposure to leasing operations, agent management, and fast-paced deal execution. This role is based
in-person in New York City . Responsibilities
Support day-to-day leasing operations across multiple NYC listings Track deals from lead → showing → application → lease execution Draft leases, riders, and amendments Maintain accurate, real-time data in Airtable and internal systems Assist with agent interviewing, onboarding, and training coordination Track vacancies, pricing, and market comps Support landlord communication and follow-ups Help streamline leasing workflows as volume increases Qualifications
1–3 years of NYC residential leasing or real estate experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Experience with Airtable or similar CRM / pipeline tools preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and execute accurately NY real estate license preferred but not required This is a leadership-adjacent role with high visibility and a clear path to full-time growth. You’ll work closely with company leadership and gain hands-on experience during a critical scaling phase of the business.
