About the Role We are looking for an

Area Sales Manager - Foodservice West

to provide executional and operational support across the West region, with a primary focus on Southern California. This role supports the Sr. Regional Sales Manager and Director of Sales by managing internal sales processes, distributor execution, and day-to-day account follow-through—allowing senior leadership to focus on growth and new business development.

This position requires strong organizational skills, field presence, and a working knowledge of Foodservice and retail sales environments. The ideal candidate is a motivated builder who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is eager to learn and master PATH’s internal systems and processes.

Reporting to the

Sr. Regional Sales Manager - West , this role is critical to maintaining sales cadence, improving execution speed, and strengthening distributor and customer relationships across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Support existing and new Foodservice accounts through PATH’s internal sales tools and processes, including Salesforce and New Account Typeform workflows

Manage Salesforce opportunity updates and internal follow-through to ensure understanding, accuracy and visibility

Execute New Account Typeform outreach and follow-up in coordination with Sr. Regional Sales Manager and Director of Sales

Provide day-to-day distributor support and execution with Broadliner and DSD partners to drive incremental volume and secure new business opportunities

Serve as a field-based extension of the sales team, providing “feet on the street” support in Southern California

Monitor account performance vs. contracts and flag risks or opportunities to senior leadership

Act as a proactive business partner to customers by ensuring follow-through on commitments and timelines

Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Product Management, Food Service East team and Marketing to support account needs and execution priorities

Qualifications

Passion for PATH's mission and a strong desire to make an impact

5+ years of experience in Foodservice and/or channel sales

Proven ability to thrive in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment

Working knowledge of Foodservice sales processes, particularly with broadliner partners such as Sysco, US Foods, PFG and independents

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Strong self-starter with a proactive, results-driven mindset

Experience building partnerships and driving performance with distributor sales representatives.

Ability to travel up to 20%

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Salesforce CRM experience is a plus
