You will build relationships with your team and clients while assisting them with customer service and ensuring their needs are met. You will have continuous learning and development opportunities to work towards your career goals.* Work with client/sales executive in gathering marketing data for new and renewal quotes* Obtain quotes from carriers for new and existing business* Negotiate pricing and coverages with carrier representatives as needed* Review and prepare coverage analysis through the proposal creation process* Provide exceptional service with accuracy and timeliness in processing all policy documents* Develop and maintain relationships with carrier representatives and remain educated on carrier appetites* Advocates for client in the marketing process to obtain the best outcomes* Maintain quotes, client/carrier correspondence and updated client information in agency management system* Advanced knowledge of carrier online systems for obtaining quotes, loss runs, billing information, policy documents, etc.* Primarily responsible for maintaining current receivable status for assigned clients* Proactive efforts to collect receivables more than 30 days past-due should be undertaken, with each unresolved circumstance documented and reported to accounting* Acts as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve service issues* May be involved in training of new hires* Identifies opportunities for cross-sell and up-sell* Support client to resolve any carrier claim challenges in concert with the HUB claims team* Broaden knowledge of the industry with continuing education* Follows HUB Broker Standards policies/procedures* Other duties may be assigned* This job does not have any supervisory responsibilities.* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or university preferred* Experience related to property and casualty account management preferred* Experience with Epic or other insurance related software preferred* An equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of minimum qualifications* State property and casualty insurance license, or ability to obtain, required* Knowledge of insurance agency operations* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Team player with a great attitude, self-motivation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment* Strong communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and organizational skills* Must be thorough, detail-oriented and is responsible for working with confidential information* Ability to accommodate immediate requests, perform under short deadlines and coordinate multiple jobs* Ability to function independently with minimal supervision* The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.* Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
