Job Description Primestor is seeking a Marketing Project Manager to serve as a marketing concierge and primary community-facing representative for select development projects. This role sits within the Marketing team and works closely with Development, Construction, Asset Management, Public Affairs, and external partners.This position reports to: Marketing Director and is Exempt. Key Responsibilities Community Outreach and Engagement Serve as the primary point of contact for community members, local organizations, and stakeholders related to assigned development projects Develop, manage, and execute annual community outreach calendars, including public meetings, workshops, and information sessions Lead and facilitate community meetings, ensuring clear, transparent, and consistent communication of project updates Prepare outreach materials, presentations, talking points, and follow-up summaries for community engagement efforts Monitor community sentiment and feedback, and regularly report insights, concerns, and opportunities back to internal teams City, County, and Stakeholder Relations Represent Primestor at city, county, chamber of commerce, and community organization meetings Build and maintain strong working relationships with public agencies, city staff, county representatives, wellness organizations, and other public and community partners Coordinate closely with internal development and entitlement teams to ensure alignment between project progress and public messaging Track meeting outcomes, action items, and commitments to ensure follow-through and accountability Construction and Project Coordination Participate in construction and project coordination meetings to stay informed on timelines, milestones, and potential community impacts. Translate technical construction updates into clear, community-friendly communications. Coordinate construction-related notices and updates to inform the public about milestones, impacts, and progress. Community-Facing Project Management and Placemaking Manage and oversee community-facing project components associated with development projects, including public art, murals, creative installations, and art commissions Serve as the primary project manager for these initiatives from concept through execution, including scope development, timelines, budgets, approvals, and coordination Lead artist and consultant selection processes, including RFQs or RFPs, when applicable Coordinate with artists, designers, fabricators, and contractors in collaboration with internal development, construction, and marketing teams Oversee fabrication, installation, documentation, and close-out of community-facing artwork and placemaking elements Ensure all creative and public-realm initiatives reflect cultural context, community input, and Primestor’s placemaking values Track milestones, risks, and dependencies related to these initiatives and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders Public Relations and Communications Support and coordinate public relations efforts related to development projects, including press coordination, messaging, and announcements. Collaborate with internal marketing and external PR partners to ensure consistent narratives and brand alignment. Review and contribute to content related to development updates, community milestones, and public communications. Marketing Team Support Contribute to broader marketing efforts across projects, properties, and corporate initiatives as needed. Support marketing campaigns, events, materials, and storytelling initiatives that align with Primestor’s mission and values. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure community engagement efforts are integrated into overall marketing strategy. Collaborate with internal teams to support company-wide events, cultural programs, and communications initiatives. Assist with media relations, press releases, and partnerships to enhance the visibility of properties and events. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 4-year college degree in Marketing, Communications, Urban Planning, Public Affairs, Real Estate, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, community outreach, public engagement, real estate development, or related roles with a strong emphasis on stakeholder and community relations Demonstrated experience managing complex scopes, community-facing deliverables, or integrated marketing and outreach programs in a fast-paced environment Strong project management skills, including planning, task prioritization, schedule coordination, and execution from concept through completion Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and presentation — with the ability to engage with community groups, public agency leaders, internal teams, and external partners Proficiency with digital tools (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, project management platforms) and comfort with creative and presentation software (Canva, InDesign, or equivalent) Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and an ability to translate technical information into accessible messaging Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, results-oriented, and capable of effective independent judgment Ability to integrate community outreach strategy into broader marketing and development programs Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including development, construction, leasing, investor relations, and corporate leadership Bilingual in Spanish and English (or relevant local language proficiency) Experience leading public art, murals, placemaking, or creative commissions as part of community engagement initiatives Experience facilitating public meetings, workshops, or multi-stakeholder forums Background in coordinating with city, county, wellness, or nonprofit partners Highly organized, proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented Comfortable presenting publicly and representing the company in community and civic environments Aligned with Primestor’s mission and values of inclusive community engagement, equity, and meaningful impact through real estate development OTHER DUTIES Some travel may be required.
