Srote & Co Architects | Planners | Interiors is seeking an Interior Designer to join our award-winning team. Our firm in St. Louis,, remains small but has been growing steadily since establishing in 2012, and is a supportive, creative environment where your voice matters.
You’ll work closely with our architects, interior designers, and clients to develop thoughtful, beautiful, and highly detailed interiors - from early concepts through construction and installation. This is hands‑on, client‑facing role for someone who loves both the creative and the practical sides of design.
What You’ll Do
Develop interior design concepts, palettes, and material selections aligned with the overall architectural vision
Create and manage finish schedules, furniture plans, lighting plans, and specifications
Prepare design documentation and coordinate with the architectural and construction teams
Participate in client meetings, presentations, and site visits
Manage vendor relationships, pricing, and procurement
Support projects from initial concept through construction and final installation

Requirements
3+ years of professional interior design experience (high-end residential experience strongly preferred)
Strong design sensibility with an eye for proportion, materials, and detail
Organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once
Confident working directly with clients and external consultants
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or similar tools
Curious, collaborative, and kind – ego‑free but confident
