Interior Designer
We are seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer to join our growing interiors team. This role is perfect for a designer passionate about translating architectural concepts into meaningful interior environments and thriving in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary studio setting. The Interior Designer will work closely with architects, project managers, consultants, and clients to develop interior design solutions from concept through construction administration. Responsibilities: Collaborate with project teams to develop interior design concepts aligned with overall architectural vision. Produce interior design documentation including plans, elevations, details, and schedules. Select and specify finishes, materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). Prepare presentation materials, mood boards, and client-facing design documentation. Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and participate in client meetings and presentations as appropriate. Assist with construction administration, including submittal reviews and site visits. Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements. Support junior designers and contribute to a collaborative studio culture. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kalamazoo, MI. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $28.85/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
