Job Description
We are seeking an Architectural Designer to support the technical design and documentation of corporate interiors projects, with additional involvement in automotive dealership projects nationwide. This role is heavily focused on construction documentation and construction administration, providing accurate, high‑quality drawing production and coordination in partnership with project architects and project managers.

Responsibilities
Provide architectural support for corporate interiors projects, including office buildouts, renovations, and tenant improvement work.
Contribute to select automotive dealership projects across the U.S.
Produce comprehensive construction documents, including demolition plans, floor plans, interior and exterior elevations, and detailed architectural drawings.
Develop and maintain working drawings using AutoCAD.
Assist throughout the construction administration phase to ensure documents align with design intent and field conditions.
Review and process submittals and RFIs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
Incorporate redlines, revisions, and field updates into construction drawings in coordination with project team members.
Maintain organized, up‑to‑date drawing sets and adhere to established drafting standards and documentation protocols.
Essential Skills
Experience supporting architectural projects during construction documentation and construction administration phases.
Proficiency in AutoCAD for architectural drafting and production of working drawings.
Solid understanding of construction documents, detailing, and architectural standards.
Experience reviewing submittals and RFIs.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
Minimum of 3 years of experience producing working drawings in AutoCAD, supported by references and PDF work samples.
Proficiency in Revit and other architectural design software is a plus.
Work Environment This position is with a 30‑person architecture and interiors firm located on Morehead Street near Uptown Charlotte. The office offers free parking and a collaborative, team‑oriented atmosphere with a fun, energetic culture. Amenities include arcade games and an in‑office beer tap.
Job Type & Location Permanent position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $65,000.00 - $85,000.00/yr.
