We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in roofing and exterior façade systems. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with at least 5 years of estimating experience across complex commercial exterior scopes. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive bids and supporting preconstruction efforts on a wide range of roofing and building envelope projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial roofing and exterior façade projects Perform material takeoffs, labor calculations, and pricing analysis Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing Identify scope gaps, risks, and value-engineering opportunities cal cost data and estimating best practices Required Experience & Technical Expertise
Roofing Systems (Required) Single-Ply Roofing Systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM) Built-Up Roofing (BUR) Modified Bitumen Standing Seam Metal Roofing Rainscreen Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in roofing and exterior façade construction Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and materials Proficiency with estimating software and takeoff tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar) Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
