Position The communications coordinator is responsible for collaborating with senior leadership, promoting and maintaining positive awareness within the community of PCHS and its programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Promote positive company culture and support of company goals and objectives
Develop and implement employee engagement strategies and initiatives, and staff in-reach efforts
Manage and maintain the intranet and the organization’s website, overseeing accurate content updates, consistent branding and reliable function
Support planning and coordination of annual company events including, but not limited to, the company picnic and annual ball
Identify and collaborate with local resources to initiate/maintain advertising in appropriate regional publications and chambers-of-commerce guides; coordinate with outside vendors to create and publish annual reports, agency/program brochures and other marketing materials
Create and implement new activities and/or programs to increase employee engagement and satisfaction
Create marketing materials for PCHS promotions, patient engagement and outreach promotions using appropriate media (e.g., mail campaigns, social media, texting campaigns, newspaper, radio ads)
Manage and maintain PCHS presence on appropriate social media and business platforms
Coordinate updates and maintenance for PCHS website
Maintain and coordinate daily staffing levels to ensure appropriate coverage
Develop and maintain accurate electronic community outreach information
Provide support for communication and marketing material for the PCHS Foundation
Proficient in Adobe Suite, Canva and BrightAuthor
Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Compensation Starting wage at $20.32 up to $30.23. *taking into account education and experience related to the position.
Qualifications
One to three years of customer service experience (required)
One to two years of experience in Marketing (preferred)
Valid driver’s license (required)
Skills Must have excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team; to receive and respond well to feedback. Possess strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills; time-management and organizational skills, including being punctual, responsive, and efficient. Perform job with professionalism and good judgment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands With multiple locations and settings, PCHS’ work environment and physical demands vary greatly depending on the employee’s role. Essential job functions include talking, hearing, seeing, smelling, sitting and standing. The employee is frequently required to move around the facility; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Employees may be exposed to mechanical parts and moderate noise levels. The employee must possess a personal cell phone and maintain active service to facilitate secure access to workplace systems and applications via multi-factor authentication. Reasonable accommodations may be available to individuals with disabilities to perform their essential job functions.
