
POSITION SUMMARY: The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for leading, executing, and optimizing the organization’s digital marketing strategy across all digital channels. This role owns digital initiatives from concept through launch and ongoing optimization, ensuring high-quality execution, measurable results, and alignment with business goals. The Digital Marketing Manager brings strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution skills, with a particular emphasis on website management, backend functionality, CRM/email marketing, paid media, and reputation management. This role also supports and guides Digital Marketing Strategists, helping prioritize initiatives, elevate quality, and ensure timely execution.

Essential Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Execution
Own the planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of all digital marketing initiatives across web, SEO/SEM, paid search, social media, email, CRM, and display advertising.
Lead digital campaigns from start to finish, ensuring projects are launched on time, meet quality standards, and achieve defined goals.
Establish digital campaign goals and KPIs; track, analyze, and report performance with actionable insights.
Stay ahead of digital marketing trends, platform updates, and best practices, proactively recommending improvements and innovations.
Website & Backend Management
Own website content, structure, and backend functionality, including ongoing edits, optimizations, and user experience improvements.
Create and optimize landing pages to improve conversion rates and user engagement.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on website development, updates, and enhancements.
Ensure website content remains current, accurate, and aligned with brand and SEO best practices.
Paid Media, SEO & Lead Generation
Plan, execute, and optimize Google Ads campaigns, including keyword research, budgeting, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
Drive lead acquisition and track conversions, including new patient acquisition and funnel performance.
Lead A/B testing initiatives across digital channels to continuously improve performance.
Email Marketing, CRM & Reputation Management
Manage email marketing and CRM campaigns, including segmentation, automation, and performance tracking.
Oversee Google Business Profile (GMB) and online reputation management, including listings accuracy, review monitoring, and response strategy.
Ensure consistent, high-quality digital presence across all online office listings and local platforms.
Content, Social & Brand Presence
Oversee social media strategy and execution, ensuring consistent brand voice, engagement, and growth across platforms.
Create, review, and publish blog content and digital signage content (LED/monument signs, optical displays, waiting rooms).
Assist with design layouts for print and digital media as needed, maintaining brand consistency.
Team Support & Collaboration
Provide guidance and support to Digital Marketing Strategists, helping prioritize initiatives and maintain focus on high-impact work.
Review digital work for quality, accuracy, and effectiveness prior to launch.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and campaign development with the marketing team.
Commitment to continuing education and development in online marketing and social media trends, website and UX best practices, design trends, and eyecare industry developments
Perform other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, And Certification
Bachelor’s degree Marketing, Graphic Design, or related degree required.
10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with demonstrated ownership of campaigns from planning through execution and optimization
Experience managing websites, including backend updates and optimization
Coding knowledge (HTML/CSS) preferred
Experience with email marketing platforms and CRM systems
Experience with social media management platforms preferred
