Job Details As the Customer & Sales Operations Manager, you will oversee a team of six supporting the sales organization and frontline customers to ensure accurate order processing, inventory control, and top‑tier customer experience. This role is ideal for a proven operations or customer service leader who thrives on improving systems, motivating teams, and building cross‑departmental alignment.

Key Responsibilities

Team leadership: Manage, coach, and develop a team of customer service professionals; run 1:1s, set goals, and conduct performance reviews.

Order management: Oversee full order‑to‑invoice lifecycle — processing, confirmations, returns, credits, and issue escalation.

Inventory oversight: Partner with Sales and warehouse teams to maintain inventory accuracy and eliminate shortages or excess stock.

Customer engagement: Act as the escalation point for complex issues, pricing exceptions, and high‑priority customer needs.

Process improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements that increase efficiency and improve the customer journey.

Cross‑functional collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Corporate Accounts, Finance, and Logistics to ensure alignment across the order lifecycle.

Systems & reporting: Maintain data integrity in CRM and ERP systems; prepare reports and dashboards to track performance and KPIs.

Qualifications

5+ years in customer service, order management, or sales operations leadership.

Proven success leading teams and improving processes in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience with CRM systems and ERP platforms (SAP preferred).

Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

Familiarity with logistics and domestic order flow (international experience a plus).

French language skills are a bonus.

Compensation & Details Salary Range: $85K–$120K (depending on experience)

Location: Raleigh, NC — In‑office position

Reports to: Vice President, Sales
