The Inside Sales Representative supports both existing and new customers in the industrial/commercial sector by providing expert guidance and responsive service for our full line of electrical motor repair equipment and circular saw blades. This role blends order management, accurate and timely quoting, technical product knowledge, and proactive outreach to expand our customer base in a B2B environment. The individual will exhibit a positive, growth‑minded attitude and have the willingness and ability to learn technical aspects of the products and their applications.

You’ll help manufacturers, machine shops, motor repair shops, fabricators and OEMs select the right circular saw blades and/or electrical motor repair tools for their applications while identifying new opportunities to grow market share.

Key Responsibilities: Customer Account Management:

Process incoming orders for electrical motor repair products and circular saw blades with accuracy and attention to detail.

Serve as the primary contact for existing accounts, ensuring fast, clear communication and exceptional service.

Maintain strong product knowledge across blade types, tooth geometries, coatings, materials, and application‑specific performance.

Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities based on customer cutting needs, machine types, and production goals.

Quoting & Pricing:

Prepare accurate, timely, and competitive quotes for circular saw blades, including custom diameters, tooth configurations, and specialty coatings.

Ensure all quotes reflect correct pricing, lead times, technical specifications, and any required engineering input.

Follow up on outstanding quotes to support conversion and maintain customer engagement.

Coordinate with manufacturing and engineering for complex or non‑standard blade requests.

New Business Development:

Research and identify potential customers such as machine shops, OEMs, and industrial distributors.

Conduct outbound calls and emails to introduce our circular saw blade solutions and generate qualified leads.

Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective accounts using CRM tools.

Attend trade shows to generate new leads and promote Martindale’s brands in the industry.

Technical & Product Support:

Understand and communicate the differences between blade materials (HSS, solid carbide, carbide‑tipped), tooth geometries, coatings, and cutting parameters.

Assist customers in selecting the correct blade for their material type, cutting speed, feed rate, and machine setup.

Work with engineering and the customer to resolve technical questions or performance issues.

Participate in ongoing product training to stay current on new blade technologies and industry trends.

Administrative & Reporting:

Maintain accurate customer records, quotes, order histories, and communication logs in the CRM system.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quoting accuracy, customer experience, and sales processes.
