The Inside Sales Support Representative plays a vital role in supporting the sales operations at SEG Manufacturing, a leading solar manufacturing company. This position is responsible for providing day-to-day support to the sales team while ensuring clear, timely communication with customers throughout the order lifecycle. The role focuses on managing customer inquiries, accurately processing sales orders, and coordinating closely with internal departments including production, logistics, and supply chain to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently. Serving as a key liaison between customers and the manufacturing team, the Inside Sales Support Representative helps align sales activities with solar production capabilities, delivery schedules, and operational timelines. By maintaining detailed records, tracking order status, and providing proactive updates, this position contributes directly to customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and the continued growth of SEG Manufacturing in the renewable energy industry. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. Minimum of 1 year experience in inside sales support, customer service, or a related role within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced setting. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in the manufacturing industry or with industrial products. Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms. Knowledge of sales order processing and inventory management principles. Additional training or certification in sales support or customer relationship management. Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, to support a diverse customer base. Responsibilities:
Proactively find and contact new customers through various channels like direct contact, web leads, trade shows, or referrals. Research potential clients and use phone, email, or video to understand their needs and challenges. Present products or services, provide information, and create quotations. Complete RFPs as needed for potential opportunities by collecting and organizing required information according to a strict timeline. Build and maintain relationships with both new and existing customers to foster loyalty and generate repeat business. Process orders, handle customer inquiries, provide tracking information, and assist to help solve issues. Act as liaison between sales team and operations team to track order delivery and accurate inventory. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and other relevant data in a CRM system. Skills:
