POSITION SUMMARY:
Design a high volume of print and digital ads, brochures, flyers, signs, banners, web art, and promotional materials to meet the standards and approval of SBSH MarCom and the Stony Brook Medicine Design Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Submit projects through Monday.com to secure SBM MarCom/design team approval.
Submit approved files to print and media vendors, review proofs and submit final production files to meet print/release deadlines.
Work with members of the Mar/Com team and hospital departments to design promotional materials, as needed.
Work with SBSH MarCom to ensure web and PDFs are ADA compliant.
File InDesign production files and PDFs on share drive.
REQUIRED
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree with a focus on Graphic Design - i.e. Bachelor of Arts Degree or Fine Arts Degree 5 or more years of experience with an ad or Public Relations agency or media outlet Ability to work with and to respond to requests in a timely and pleasant fashion Can manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet aggressive deadlines Excellent communication and organizational skills High degree of Competency in InDesign, Adobe, Photoshop, etc Capable of learning new software, including Silktide and Monday.com Team Player PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Sitting majority of the day. Occasional heavy lifting when helping to deliver signage. Attention to detail. Visual and auditory acuity. As part of employment at Southampton Hospital, there may be occasions when travel to other locations is needed to support operational needs. Special Notes
