We are conducting a confidential search for a
Plant Manager
to lead a high‑impact manufacturing facility for a global, market‑leading industrial organization. This role is ideal for a hands‑on, people‑centered manufacturing leader who excels in driving operational excellence while building a strong, engaged culture.
This leader will set the tone for performance and culture— leading from the floor ,
developing talent , and
driving continuous improvement
through Lean principles and disciplined execution.
Responsibilities
Lead all day‑to‑day manufacturing operations across production, materials, quality, maintenance, and logistics
Build, develop, and retain high‑performing leadership and frontline teams
Drive best‑in‑class performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC)
Deploy and sustain Lean manufacturing systems (Gemba leadership, standard work, daily management, problem solving)
Optimize labor, equipment, and materials to meet customer demand and financial targets
Lead capital projects and operational improvement initiatives from concept to execution
Establish operating cadence, KPIs, and accountability across shifts and functions
Foster a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or related field preferred)
10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including Plant Manager or Operations Manager roles
Proven success leading Lean manufacturing environments
Strong business and financial acumen
Ability to lead a multi‑shift operation with a visible, hands‑on leadership style
