
Experience and Skill Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in content creation or social media management Proficiency in video editing software and social media management platforms Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and platforms, with a knack for creating compelling content Understanding of social media best practices and current trends Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality content Passionate about community engagement and building meaningful relationships with audience Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe) is a plus Self-motivated, deadline-driven and extremely organized Must have reliable transportation to and from office Enjoys a collaborative environment and supporting clients with achieving their goals Highly engaged, curious, adaptable, and deeply invested in the social media space Responsibilities
Create engaging, high-quality copy for social media posts, including captions, stories, and promotional/lifestyle content that align with the brand’s voice and strategy. Maintain a consistent posting schedule and collaborate with clients and team members to develop creative concepts that align with brand strategies and reach Remember Media’s monthly metric goals Monitor and respond to comments and interactions on social media to foster community engagement and build relationships with followers Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activity to inform content strategy and identify opportunities for engagement Film, edit, and produce high-quality Reels and TikToks that resonate with target audiences Own assigned client accounts end-to-end, while collaborating cross-functionally with Account Managers, Content Managers, and Photographers to ensure strategy, execution, and reporting standards are met Consistently meet REM’s baseline engagement and reach standards for assigned accounts, and proactively identify underperformance, risks, or opportunities for improvement using REM’s reporting frameworks Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance the quality and effectiveness of content produced Proactively flag risks, missing assets, delayed approvals, or scope concerns using REM’s documentation and escalation standards before issues impact publishing or client trust Daily use of REM’s operating systems (Notion, SMM Tools, Meta Business Suite, Dropbox) to manage content calendars, approvals, documentation, and performance tracking Manage organization of video assets, ensuring all footage is stored properly & easily accessible Demonstrate strong creative judgment, cultural awareness, and decision discipline – knowing when to publish, pause, escalate, or push back in service of brand trust and REM’s standards Build trust as a top social media manager through always learning & being visible Demonstrate cultural/generational awareness and respect Foster a collaborative environment where creative ideas can flourish Benefits
