
Sales Hunter (Business Development Representative)

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to drive sales throughout our organization. This position will engage primarily with new customers to deeply understand their needs, identifying and selling custom Jolt solutions to improve their use of technology. Activities will include generating external leads, implementing cold outreach campaigns, developing client relationships, proposing a compliment of services and projects, and maintaining sales data among other sales related activities. The BDR will act as a sales hunter to achieve company targets. They will work together with other team members to design the solutions and maintain a high level of client satisfaction. To be successful in this role, you should have an interest in technology, exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, top-tier organization, and the ability to prioritize a solution driven mindset.
Responsibilities
Develop strong relationships with potential clients, driven from a desire to help. Develop and execute a comprehensive lead generation strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals and sales target, generating first time appointments with prospects. Grow and improve the company’s sales and marketing strategy. Identify and research target markets, companies, and individuals that match our ideal customer profile. Conduct outreach campaigns (phone/email/other) to introduce services and qualify leads. Build and maintain a robust pipeline through effective tracking and management in our CRM system. Manage sales funnel with up to date data. Collaborate with the sales team to develop compelling proposals, presentations, and quotes for potential customers. Keep up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitors to inform our sales strategies and tactics. Maintain marketing materials to match. Achieve monthly and quarterly lead generation and sales targets. Work with vendors to stay up-to-date on product offerings and pricing. Meet with clients on and off-site. Partner with Account Management staff for sales opportunities from current clients. Additional tasks as required. Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferred Experience in B2B sales General knowledge of IT services, hardware, tools and processes and the ability to identify needs. Superior interpersonal and people management skills, with the ability to build team consensus. Desire to operate beyond reproach with integrity and a kind, warm, & helpful attitude. Strong time-management skills, remaining organized while prioritizing customer satisfaction and meeting deadlines, as well as the ability to focus on multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding analytical, problem-solving skills, and communication (written/oral) skills. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced environment and changing day-to-day requirements. Ability to use basic and intermediate computer software including: Windows and/or Mac, Email, MS Office Suite, various web-based apps Ability to quickly learn new web-based software systems.
