Job Summary Whitley’s Peanut Factory is seeking a hands‑on Marketing Specialist to help bring our brand to life across digital, e‑commerce, print, and retail channels. This role works closely with the Marketing Manager to execute campaigns, support our Shopify site, create engaging content, and ensure a consistent, high‑quality brand experience everywhere Whitley’s shows up.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑driven, and creative—someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, managing multiple projects, and supporting both the creative and analytical sides of marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns across e-commerce, digital, print, email, social, and retail channels ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and on‑time delivery.
Support and help maintain the Whitley’s Shopify website, including graphics, promotions, product listings, pricing updates, and content changes, while helping troubleshoot issues and recommend enhancements.
Assist in creating, editing and coordinating marketing assets for email, web, social media, catalogs, packaging, retail signage, and promotions, using tools like Canva and Photoshop and collaborating with external designers as needed.
Plan, write, schedule, and manage organic social media, including creating content, photography, engaging with the audience, and tracking performance.
Assist with email and SMS campaigns by recommending content, proofreading, testing, scheduling, and supporting seasonal promotions, launches, and newsletters.
Support seasonal catalogs and printed materials by coordinating product details, pricing, imagery, and proofreading to ensure accuracy and brand alignment.
Execute marketing initiatives for Whitley’s retail stores, including signage, promotions, seasonal campaigns, and in‑store programs, while tracking promotional performance and coupon redemptions.
Track performance across e‑commerce, email, social, and retail initiatives, compile reports and insights, and assist with identifying trends and opportunities.
Organize and maintain digital assets, photography, and creative files to ensure accessibility, version control, and efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and follow‑through.
Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
Comfortable working with email, spreadsheets, and shared systems.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
Working Conditions
80% of time at desk.
May require minimum travel.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
1–3 years of marketing experience, ideally in e‑commerce, retail, or consumer brands.
Experience creating and managing organic social media content.
Proficiency with Canva and/or Adobe Photoshop.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Proficiency in Excel or similar tools for tracking and reporting.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Performance Metrics Will be determined by CEO and Marketing team.
