Job Overview
The Advanced Customer Service Representative will encompass all responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative I while taking on additional duties that enhance team performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a mentor and support for fellow Customer Service Representatives in the department.
Lead training sessions based on specialized knowledge, including the imaging, indexing, and preparation of claim documents as required.
Distribute and manage workload efficiently among available Customer Service Representatives.
Facilitate the transfer of claims information to relevant policies as requested from the claims department, and investigate unverified claims mail to determine necessary actions and processes.
Conduct thorough research on claims regarding unverified policies until resolution is achieved.
Manage outbound communications by making phone calls, drafting letters, and following up with correspondents as needed.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service.
