Account Executive (Mid-Market)
to join our team in New York. In this role, you will be responsible for managing assigned customer accounts and maximizing sales opportunities within the
Mid-Market segment (typically 501 - 2,000 employees) . You will act as a strategic partner to IT and Security leaders, helping them mitigate human risk through our award-winning platform.
Location:
Broadway, New York, NY (Hybrid: 4 Days Onsite / 1 Day Remote)
Compensation:
$70,000 - $80,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission
Key Responsibilities
Sales Execution:
Promote and sell our full range of cybersecurity products and services to achieve and exceed monthly sales quotas within the Mid‑Market segment.
Business Development:
Identify and close net‑new customers in your assigned territory through cold calling, networking, and high‑level prospecting.
Account Management:
Manage relationships with current prospects and reactivate "dark" (lapsed) customer accounts to drive expansion and retention.
Pipeline Management:
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecasting new business prospects that result in successful, long‑term client relationships.
Value Proposition:
Articulate the complex value of our platform to C‑level decision‑makers, demonstrating how to improve an organization's security awareness and overall posture.
Strategic Negotiation:
Act strategically when negotiating pricing and contracts in line with company policies to secure win‑win outcomes for larger‑scale deals.
CRM Hygiene:
Maintain thorough and accurate records of all customer interactions (calls, emails, demos, tasks) in Salesforce.
Collaboration:
Participate in regional trade shows and industry events; support team members to ensure seamless territory coverage.
Performance Metrics
Consistent achievement of monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
High volume of outbound activity, including strategic prospecting, product demonstrations, and efficient lead cycle management.
Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
2–4 years of experience selling software (SaaS) is preferred, ideally with experience managing Mid‑Market or Enterprise‑level sales cycles.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with standard concepts the IT Security field.
Certifications:
Network+ or Security+ certifications are a significant plus.
Tools:
Expert proficiency using Salesforce, Gmail for business, and sales engagement tools.
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to executive leadership.
Strong collaborative and teamwork mindset.
Self‑motivated with the ability to work effectively with minimum supervision in a fast‑paced environment.
