Inside Sales Representative – Metals Industry
Location: Addison, IL
Salary: $70K–$80K base + commission (potential to earn an additional $5K–$15K annually)
Schedule: Full-time, onsite with strong work-life balance

What You’ll Do
Manage and grow relationships with existing customers in the metals industry
Handle inbound inquiries and quote requests via email and phone using Outlook
Coordinate internally with estimators and production to support customer needs
Provide excellent service post-sale—order processing, updates, technical questions, etc.
Follow up on digital marketing leads and campaigns (no aggressive cold-calling)
Occasionally visit local customers as needed (light travel within Chicagoland)
Collaborate on light marketing efforts like email follow-ups and materials distribution
Support the sales team at occasional trade shows or networking events What You Bring
BS/BA/AAS or equivalent experience — prefer 3+ years in metals, heat treating, service centers, or mills
1+ years of sales experience (willing to train in manufacturing, metals, or related industries)
Comfortable discussing technical aspects of metal components or fabrication
Strong follow-up and communication skills
Organized multitasker who can manage multiple customer accounts with ease
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Local to the Chicagoland area and able to travel locally as needed
