to lead our ophthalmic and oncology commercial efforts, while managing a high-performing call center sales team and supporting national account growth. Position Summary The

Sales Manager

is responsible for driving commercial success for Avastin within the retina, oncology, and specialty infusion markets. This role leads a team of call center sales representatives, manages key customer relationships, and collaborates with internal departments to maximize growth and market expansion. The ideal candidate has extensive call center sales leadership experience, strong ophthalmic market knowledge, and a proven ability to motivate teams while delivering exceptional customer engagement. Job Title: Sales Manager Key Responsibilities Directly lead, coach, and develop a team of

8–12 call center sales representatives

responsible for inbound/outbound outreach, lead qualification, and account support. Set

daily, weekly, and monthly performance expectations

with clear KPIs including call volume, conversions, follow-ups, pipeline health, and customer retention. Conduct continuous training on compliance, product knowledge, CRM best practices, objection handling, and customer relationship excellence. Monitor individual and team performance, providing

real-time coaching , conducting performance reviews, and implementing improvement plans when required. Foster and maintain a

strong culture of accountability, compliance, and high performance

across the team. 2. Retina Market Sales & Territory Execution

Manage key strategic ophthalmology and retina-focused customer accounts while supporting call center reps in growing clinic utilization. Lead the team in executing

territory and market expansion strategies

for Avastin across ophthalmic and retina segments. Partner with field teams, marketing, and operations to ensure aligned outreach and consistent messaging. Achieve overall company Avastin revenue targets through a coordinated combination of

field sales + call center execution . 3. Customer Relationship Oversight

Serve as the primary

escalation point for high-value clients

and complex account needs. Ensure call center representatives deliver a

best-in-class customer experience

including timely responses, accurate information, and strong follow-through. Oversee the onboarding of new accounts, ensuring seamless handoff from sales to logistics, operations, and customer support. Maintain strong customer relationships within ophthalmology, oncology, hospital outpatient departments, and integrated delivery networks. 4. Strategic Sales Management

Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive revenue growth, market penetration, and long-term customer retention. Evaluate market trends, competitive activity, and account analytics to identify opportunities and adjust tactics. Deliver accurate sales forecasts and contribute to monthly and quarterly business reports. Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and with operations to manage supply, inventory, and demand planning. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with Medivant’s Marketing, Medical Affairs, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment across commercial initiatives. Communicate market insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to internal stakeholders. Support the design and implementation of sales programs, training materials, and customer-facing tools. Required Qualifications

7–10 years minimum experience in call center sales leadership

(non-negotiable). Bachelor’s degree in business, Life Sciences, Marketing, or related field. Strong background in specialty injectables, ophthalmology, retina, oncology, biosimilars, or sterile pharmaceuticals. Demonstrated success managing sales teams with clear KPIs and performance accountability. Proven ability to engage high-value accounts and navigate complex customer needs. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance metrics and drive data-based decisions. Excellent communication, coaching, and motivational leadership skills. Ability to travel as needed for key accounts and business priorities (approx. 20–40%). Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the

ophthalmic or retina market

(strongly preferred). Experience selling Avastin or anti-VEGF therapies. Familiarity with buy-and-bill, reimbursement pathways, and specialty distribution. Experience in fast-paced or growth-stage pharmaceutical organizations.
