About the Job We are looking for a Narrative & Brand Strategy Lead to own Field AI’s strategic narrative. This role defines, governs, and amplifies how the company is positioned as the category leader across all audiences and channels. Sitting at the intersection of brand strategy, content governance, PR, and digital experience, this role translates real product capability and traction into clear, credible, and scalable market narratives.

You will ensure that everything we say is strategic, provable, consistent, and amplified through the right internal and external voices at the right time. This is a high-leverage role with direct impact on credibility with customers, investors, analysts, and the broader ecosystem.

What You’ll Get To Do

Own the brand map and distribution strategy, grounding decisions in clear analysis of audience behavior, channels, and market dynamics

Own Field AI’s category narrative and present the company as the credible category leader

Translate real product capabilities and deployments into clear, defensible market messaging

Define and govern narrative architecture, claims, proof points, and terminology

Ensure consistent positioning across executives, investors, PR, sales, recruiting, and marketing

Set and enforce evidence standards and review processes for all external content

Decide what when, and through which channels

Coordinate amplification across employees, investors, partners, analysts, and influencers

Own brand identity, voice, website narrative, and digital copy quality\>Run social and public channels as proof-driven credibility platforms

Own corporate communications, media relations, and executive public readiness

Ensure external coverage accurately reflects what the product can truly do

What You Have

Experience in brand strategy, narrative development, corporate communications, or related roles

Proven ownership of category positioning and company-level narrative in a technical or emerging market

Strong ability to translate complex product and technical capabilities into clear, credible market language

Experience owning canonical messaging, positioning frameworks, and claims governance

Deep understanding of evidence-based storytelling and credibility-driven brand building

Experience partnering closely with product, engineering, leadership, and go-to-market teams

Strong editorial judgment with the ability to set and enforce content standards

Experience managing content review, approval, and governance processes

Comfortable owning executive-facing communications and preparing leaders for public moments

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to precision and consistency

The Extras That Set You Apart

Experience defining or shaping a new category in a technical or frontier industry

Background working with deeply technical products such as AI, robotics, autonomy, or infrastructure software

Experience extracting insight from market signals to assess company positioning, narrative credibility, and category leadership

Strong point of view on narrative discipline versus hype in emerging technology spaces

Experience building brand systems and narrative frameworks from first principles

Comfortable operating in fast-scaling, ambiguous environments with high ownership and accountability

Experience guiding third-party amplification through partners, consultants, or influencers

Ability to balance growth, demand generation, and narrative integrity without compromise

Compensation and Benefits Our salary range is between ($100,000 - $300,000 annual), but we take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary; base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Also, while we enjoy being together on-site, we are open to exploring a hybrid or remote option.
