About the Role
The Company is in search of a Managing Director to lead its Corporates Utilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a large team of analysts and will play a key role in the global capital markets by providing credit analysis, ratings, research, and commentary. This leadership position requires a professional with a strong background in corporate credit, including financial statement analysis and modeling, as well as a deep understanding of the debt capital markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams, and a network of relationships within the debt capital markets and/or utilities sector.
As the Managing Director, the role involves direct managerial responsibility for a team of 25 analysts, ensuring the consistent application of the company's credit criteria and methodologies, and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment. The candidate should be adept at articulating credit views and sector outlooks in various settings and be committed to championing analytical excellence and operational efficiency. A minimum of 15 years' of relevant experience in a capital markets and/or credit analysis role is required, with a preference for candidates holding a CFA. The role demands a leader with excellent communication skills, a strong sense of intellectual curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
