About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director to lead its Corporates Utilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 25 analysts covering a diverse portfolio of over 150 public and private debt issuers, including both investment-grade and speculative-grade rated companies. This role demands a leader with a strong background in corporate credit, particularly in financial statement analysis and financial modeling, and a deep understanding of the debt capital markets. The Managing Director will be expected to provide credit leadership in the ratings process, ensure the consistent application of the company's criteria and methodologies, and effectively communicate credit views and sector outlooks to various stakeholders.
Applicants for the Managing Director position should have a minimum of 15 years' of relevant experience in a capital markets and/or credit analysis role, with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams. The role requires a candidate with a healthy sense of intellectual curiosity, a life-long learning mindset, and the ability to champion analytical excellence and operational efficiency. A CFA designation is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a network of relationships within the debt capital markets and/or utilities sector and be adept at fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
