About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to serve as its chief executive and strategic leader, with a focus on guiding the organization into a new era of growth and sustainability. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation of a multi-year strategic plan, strengthening organizational infrastructure, diversifying funding, and elevating the company's visibility as a national model. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep commitment to equity, youth development, and community collaboration, who can ensure that the company's mission and values are aligned with the needs of the community.
Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include strategic leadership, fundraising, and financial stewardship, program excellence, and impact, as well as facilities strategy and urban youth academy planning. The role also involves fostering partnerships, community engagement, and leading a culture of inclusion and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, a minimum of 5-7 years of senior leadership experience in nonprofit or youth sports settings, and a proven track record in strategic planning, fundraising, and partnership building. Strong operational, communication, and relationship-management skills are essential, as is a commitment to youth development through sport. Familiarity with baseball/softball operations and community-based program design is preferred.
