About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President for Asset Management to lead the strategic and operational management of a significant portfolio of multifamily units. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and executing asset-level business plans that prioritize rent growth, expense optimization, and long-term value creation. This role demands a hands-on approach, including monitoring property financial performance, managing relationships with third-party property management companies, and overseeing capital expenditure projects. The Vice President will also be responsible for preparing various reports, and investor communications, and collaborating with acquisitions and finance teams on a range of activities.

Applicants for the Vice President, Asset Management position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' experience in multifamily asset management and/or investment, with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. An MBA or Master's in Real Estate is a positive addition. The role requires advanced proficiency in modeling and valuation, experience in managing third-party property managers and capital projects, and a strong understanding of multifamily operations, leasing dynamics, and value-add strategies. Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills are essential, as is a strong work ethic, team mentality, and a positive attitude. Familiarity with property management systems such as Yardi or RealPage is preferred. The position also involves frequent travel to various multifamily projects across the East Coast.
